Thought for Tuesday, Apr 6, 2010

You should never stoop
to someone else's level.
You should rise above it.

Wanted to give an update on Jim Berry.
In typical Jim fashion here is the update:

... All that came together today! My counts that
showed an upward trend on Wednesday are now up in
the green and there is no question the transplant
worked and I'm in recovery mode. I got
congratulations from all the staff there and was
about ready to skip out of the hospital I was so
happy. Except some how in life I never quite
learned how to skip. So I walked, but briskly.

Jim, for your information and edification from Wikipedia -
Skip - A 3-beat, 4-beat, or 6-beat gait where a foot is
repeated (i.e. LLR, RRL, etc. but there are many
variations thereof: L,L,R,R, etc.) It is typically
considered an expression of giddiness, but it can be used
in the place of run when one limb is injured
but can still be used (mild sprain).
